Crockpot Chicken Alfredo

Crockpot Chicken Alfredo

Our Alfredo sauce turns chicken and pasta into something special with this incredibly easy Chicken Alfredo – a recipe full of creamy deliciousness yet so simple you can have it on the dinner table in no time flat!  To get this on the table even faster, start with cooked chicken breast strips.

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 1/4pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, cut into strips
  • 1/2teaspoon salt
  • 1/4teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1jar (14.5 ounces) Prego® Roasted Garlic Parmesan Alfredo Sauce
  • 8ounces (1/2 of a 1-pound package) fettuccine pasta, cooked and drained
  • 2tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  1. Heat the oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Sprinkle the chicken with the salt and pepper. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until the chicken is cooked through, stirring occasionally. Remove the chicken from the skillet and keep warm. Reduce the heat to medium.
  2. Stir the Alfredo sauce in the skillet and heat through. Add the chicken and fettuccine and toss to coat.
  3. Sprinkle with the parsley and serve immediately.
Recipe Tips
  1. Preparation Shortcut: You may substitute 2 packages (about 9 ounces each) refrigerated cooked chicken strips for the fresh chicken and omit step 1.
  2. For Chicken Bacon Alfredo, stir in 1/4 cup crumbled cooked bacon (about 4 slices cooked drained and crumbled) with the sauce.
