Grilled Chicken Margherita

Easy, healthy grilled chicken margherita topped with melted mozzarella cheese, pesto, and tomato basil garnish. A tasty 30 minute meal you'll love!

  • 4 boned skinless chicken breasts, pounded to but one in. thickness

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (OR one/2 teaspoon dried oregano + 1/4 teaspoon dried basil + 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme)
  • 4 slices cheese cheese
  • 1/2 cup basil pesto (try my straightforward five Minute Pesto direction – it is the best!!)
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 tablespoon contemporary juice
  • 1/2 cup packed basil leaves, terribly thinly sliced
  • cracked black pepper
  1. In a giant bowl mix chicken, salt and pepper, olive oil, garlic power, and Italian seasoning. Toss to mix.
