Instant Pot Honey Garlic Chicken

Easy Instant Pot Honey Garlic Chicken that is tender, tasty, and a recipe your whole family will love!

  • Salt
  • Ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 4 chicken thighs (bone in, skin on)
  • 4 cloves garlic , minced
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons gluten free low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch , optional to thicken
  1. Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper on all sides.
  2. Use the saute setting to brown both sides of the chicken, then remove from pot, or you might find it easier to brown them in a non stick pan. 
  3. Mix all the sauce ingredients together and pour in the pot, return the chicken to the pot
  4. Cook for 8 minutes on high pressure, then let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes and release remaining pressure and open the lid.
  5. Remove chicken and set aside. To thicken the sauce or add 1-2tbsp cornstarch mixed with cold water.  Turn on the saute function if you need to, to reheat the sauce.
